토익문법 : 도치-가정법

가정법 : 사실이 아닌 것을 반대로 가정하는 것, 접속사 if사용

if를 생략하게 되면 if절의 주어와 동사가 도치

 

가정법 도치의 형태 : 가정법 미래, 가정법 과거완료

 

- 가정법 미래 If + 주어 + should + 동사원형 ~ , 주어 + will + 동사원형 ~

                                                           ↓

- 접속사 if를 생략하고 도치할 경우 Should + 주어 + 동사원형 ~ , 주어 + will + 동사원형 ~ .

 

가정법 미래에서 가장 많이 나오는 빈 칸은

shoule자리와 주어자리

 

가정법 과거완료에서 가장 많이 나오는 빈 칸은

had자리와 whould have p.p자리

 

 

ex)

If the technician had come by earlier in the day, the computer would have been working.

→ Had the technician come by earlier in the day, the computer would have been working

 

Had the technician come by earlier in the day, the computer would have been working.
 - > 주절의 동사가 whould have p.p형이므로 과거 완료
